Acting UP began in the summer of 2012 with its first musical presentation, Godspell. Our goal was to form a community of creatives who could express their God given talents and enjoy their love of live theater together. We are a volunteer community who rely on our patrons loving support and donations to thrive. We have been blessed to continue Acting Up's ministry with other famous productions including You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, The Music Man, Oklahoma!, Bye Bye Birdie, Steel Magnolias, Mary Poppins, Oscar & Felix: A New Look at the Odd Couple, Meet Me in St. Louis, Barefoot in the Park, Annie, Arsenic and Old Lace, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Life With Father, and most recently The Sound of Music.

"Acting UP became a crucial part of my healing. They are not just another theater, they are family. Being a grandmother with no theater background, this ministry welcomed me, trained me, loved me, and gave me a purpose and a place to serve. "
~ Diane Greene
"Acting UP has been a blessing for my whole family. WE GET TO BE INVOLVED IN EVERYTHING FROM ON STAGE TO BEHIND THE SCENES, KIDS AND ADULTS. Acting UP is a true family ministry. "
~ Mark Taylor
"Acting UP saved me when I was struggling to remember who I was. They provided an open and safe community to be myself and explore my love for the stage again."
~ Cayla Franzman
